I think that 12 entered the race and I believe I saw 3 or 4 more that could have entered but was testing I believe. Then there were several stock trucks running in the test and tune. We may try this again early next year after hunting season. And hopefully the rain will be co operative with us. Instead of putting up that kind of money for just a truck race why not a box/no box Chevy v/s Ford Mopar race? - Just getting back to the computer from the long weekend and wanted to take a moment to thank Mr. Fazio for putting on the truck bracket race. We definitely had a good time getting the Ranger out and enjoyed catching up with old friends and making new ones. Heck even got to see Jody try to see how many 50 mph burnouts it takes to take a set of slicks down to the cords!!! - Hey everybody!! Did yall know Twisted Customs can do some chassis fabrication and other small welding jobs? I brought the ole Camaro over there today to have the K-member notched for clearance for a mini alternator with the bottom mount bracket. They also welded up the quick release hub for my steering wheel. Thanks Eddie and Chris for getting me in and out of there in a few hours! - As was said everybody has an opinion. The only thing is before you start critisizing someone of what they have done, take a long look at yourself. Have you ever done even alittle something shady.. Noone has mentioned that John force had alot on his mind. Austin Coil had been in the hospital with internal bleeding. He has been with John for eons... Which ever way it was it happened and it's done. And everyone who has been bashing the fact, is not where he is because they probably don't have a pot to pi$$ in.. Give up what you have and give it a go in his shoes, starting from the beginning. HECK!!! I wasn't even a John Force *FAN* until I heard about and Saw the details of today's race at INDY. Seems like ole JOHN, took one for the TEAM. PERSONALLY, I admire him for that. Sometimes when you're a part of a team, even the TOP GUY has to "take it on the Chin" for the betterment of the entire team. I can see from the message boards that hardly anybody feels the same way about this Force's issue as I do. TOUGH!!!

yeah I seen it.Force throwed the race to get Hight in the top 10.He had a 209 reaction time.Hight gets the top 10 spot and knocks Pedregon out.The Pedregons was pissed and Tony jumped Force no punches was thrown but they had to drag Force off.They interviewed some of the other racers asking them before the race if they thought Force would do this and eveyone said yes even Mike Dunn he was giving Force hell in the booth.NHRA investigated all the tape and Forces computers but could,nt find any tuning or ajustments that were different than the round before so no disqualifactions.But they still gonna look at the film of the almost brawl....Mite be some fines there... - By mocango 9/7/2009 at 08:01:54 PM

He broke the rules by throwing the run. It doesnt matter if he is a team player or not, he cheated. NHRA didnt find anything in the computer to get him with but the video tape should be reviewed. Them Pedregon Mutha's had MONTHS and MONTHS to get in the RIGHT position to get enough points to be in the top ten. So *PEDREGONs can't HANG, and *you wanna blame the guy (FORCE) for getting ALL of his TEAM CARS in the BIG SHOW as he CAN?? And risk LOOSING his sponsor money in the process??? This is 2000 and NINE, and PRO RACING is a BUSINESS. John did what he did and it was a smart business move and a strong play for the TEAM.

If there was no rule against taking a dive, then yes, he did nothing wrong. If there was no rule and the team had a chance at the championship, there should be team orders to do whatever necessary to get somebody in the top 10. This rule might be in place for sponsors. No SERIOUSLY .....The Radiator is a requirement BECAUSE I am only gonna run this "Thang" on RACING "Fool" (fuel). NO ALKY for ME right now. Heck, its gonna be hard enuff dealing with the Q-16 we're running. But , we're gonna stay Q-16 as long as I can help it. Gonna dial it in on the Q-16 and then I'd like to hit it with "Big Boost" if the chassis and engine can handle it. Prob gonna switch the cam out during the offseason to a Steve Morris job But FIRST I just gotta get it running right enough to bring it to the 'Dale and then get some crew chief help from GTR's own blower expert ...... - The track got a late start because the sun didn't come out after the rain. Looked like everything was going good till a couple of cars had some problems and the cleaning crew had to go to work! My last pass I got the car to 60 ft a little better and ran a 10.92 @122... gotta get me some new plugs... these are worn out! I did get to meet a few new people.. there was a gentleman with his wife and daughter that were wlaking around taking pictures with the driver of each car. Kenny, Evon and Kimberly if my memory is correct. Kimberly is trying to get her Dad to build her a Jr. Dragster.. Come on Kenny!! Build it for her! And that group of guys from Fazio NAPA!!! Roger that! Last night was the first time I had EVER bracket raced and I admit at first it was highly complicated 'cuz dad always being on my @$$ for lil mistakes and my attitude got a little .... well ... out of it... anywho...THANK YOU Mr. Fazio for the invite. It was great. You'll definitly be seeing me there more often in the brackets now. Honestly, ppl kept asking me how i liked doing the brackets..... id just smile and reply "Feels like racing Test N, Tune. It didnt feel any different. I just cut the lights i would if I had been in TnT. Last night was fun and you boys made it just that much better! Thank you so much! Thanks for the kind words guys. Sorry it took so long to post went to the camp to rest before having to go back to work. All the guys had a great time as well.
