I will have the schedule up soon, we will also add a couple of more staff members to the event and I hope this will make things better. Thanks for coming out to our events and we will try and make things run a little smoother. See you at the races, Bonnie Webb www.HoustonOutlawRacing.com - By Bonnie 10/30/2009 at 11:18:23 PM
Bonnie might I suggest thet the test and tune from 12:00 to 2:00 be race participants only, Open test and tune after first round of eliminations to fill between rounds. Just my 2 cents - By Gerald 10/31/2009 at 10:05:21 PM

- The bad news is that Rock & Roll Thunder won't be able to make it tomorrow. She called today to say that she and her husband had 8" of flood water in their house. Now for the good news!!!!! There is going to be a second car. It is called "Thunderbolt" a jet Dragster. I want to thank Mike "Hojo" with the "Interceptor" police car for finding Joe with the dragster in such short notice. Besides everyone wonders which is faster a dragster or a funny car?? I guess we'll find out tomorrow. Whewwww!!! Close to only having one again. - By Fred @ the Dale 10/30/2009 at 04:38:41 PM
The dragster is faster... Thunderbolt set both ends of a new track record with a 5.32 at 297 MPH.... - By WAS THERE 10/31/2009 at 11:20:44 PM

Fred, what is the fastest et and mph done by one of these cars out there?? - By kawasakijockey 10/29/2009 at 11:27:00 AM
Kj, the current record is held by Glen "Twisted Air" Burkhart with a 5.924 @ 262.70 MPH!! - By JODY 10/30/2009 at 07:12:16 AM
I took this pic a few years ago, he ran 246 mph if my memory is correct. I can tell you it was pretty interesting standing on the line watching him launch. I don't think that was one of the smartest things I ever did...lol.
- By JIm 10/30/2009 at 07:29:24 AM
Thanks Jim for posting that pic. I bet it got a little warm out there!! When I set this race up I spoke with Mike "Hojo" and he said these 2 run so close the winner is determined by their reaction time. So this will be a good race between Rock N Roll Thunder and the Interceptor. - By Fred @ the Dale 10/30/2009 at 10:22:34 AM
that 300 + MPH on interceptor is FALSE advertisement, he's about 50 - 60 MPH OFF! bet Moyer could bust dat azz!! - By F.B.I Harris County 10/30/2009 at 04:39:30 PM
Thanks for the info. I have not yet seen one run down the strip. All I have ever seen is the fuel smoke cloud from the pits. - By kawasakijockey 10/30/2009 at 11:15:16 AM

Fred , what about the race between Mike L. and Kenneth ? We said at the staging lanes it was a race. Just asking ? - By Randy Becker 10/27/2009 at 09:00:30 PM
That's BS Randy! Kenneth said he didn't want to RACE until he saw if the converter helped or hurt. And after I saw it helped I made sure I got in back of him and not beside him. I might look like a DUMMY but I ain't that dumb. Plus I wanted you to line me up the second time. Kevin tried the first time and I ain't real sure who was in the back directing him but it didn't work out too well. I will be ready for that RACE with Kenneth when I get my NOS! Thanks for all the help Randy! - By Mike Lanclos 10/28/2009 at 11:31:47 AM
Sorry for the confusion Mike ! I thought it was set up as a tx-la race .If I am wrong sorry for the post. You do know that I will gline you up anytime, all you have to do is let me know you are going to the line . EXCEPT when one of our cars is involved !!!!! - By Randy Becker 10/28/2009 at 08:39:53 PM
No problem Randy. I appreciate all the help. See yaw at the track soon. - By Mike Lanclos 10/29/2009 at 05:49:24 AM

- A FEW PEOPLE HAVE MADE A GOOD POINT. OPEN THE GATES AT 10.00 AM AND START RACING AT NOON. THAT GIVES YOU MORE TIME TO UNLOAD AND GET YOUR STUFF SET UP AND RELAX FOR A LITTLE . AND GET READY TO RACE OR WHAT EVER YOU WANT . THE FANS WELL COME OUT EARLY TO .NOBODY REALLY WANTS TO STAY MUCH LATER THAN 10.00 PM . THEN SOME HAVE A 1 TO2 HOURS TO GET HOME. AFTER LATE NIGHT RACING ALOT OF DRIVERS ARE TIRED THATS NOT TO SAFE FOR A LONG DRIVE HOME. TRY RACING EARLIER . PEOPLE WILL STILL COME. AND WOULD ENJOY IT MORE . - By CW 10/27/2009 at 05:52:08 PM
- Mike the start early thing is already in the works for Nov 14th. Last year we started at the times you mentioned. It will be absolute in a few days. We will shut down @ 10 PM that night if the races are thru. I will let everyone know as soon as it is a fact. - By Fred @ the Dale 10/27/2009 at 05:11:10 PM
- IF YOU REALLY WANT THE CAR COUNT UP....GO TO 1/8TH MILE...WILL BRING IN ALL THE INDEX CARS...TALKED TO CHRIS ..ERIC..GERALD..THEY ALL SAY ITS EASYER TO DUNP TIME IN THE 1/8TH...BUT YOU CAN'T GET ONE OF THEM WILLING TO RUN THE 1/8TH HUMMM...THINK THEY BLOWING SMOKE UP PEOPLES AZZ..BUT THEY AL SCREAM CAR COUNT...RUN THE 1/8TH AND CAR COUNT WILL BE THEIR...AND ALL YOU GUY'S SAY ITS EASYER SO WHATS THE PROBLEM??????????????? - By PLEASE ANSWER 10/27/2009 at 00:44:54 AM
I left you your answer on LBB board DON MOSS. - By CHRIS RHODES 10/27/2009 at 01:50:32 AM
wow here we go. the reason i have talked to all you guy's at the track about this subject is...we all would like to see the car count up,, we have to sides..bracket and index...index racers can run brackets, but their cars are set up for 1/8.. i want to set my new car up for 1/8 index, but would love to run brackets with you guy's...i have talked to other people who feel the same..in sept everyone was asking if the brackets were going to be 1/8 are 1/4..and some bracket regulars said they wher not going to come if it was going to be 1/8 mile...I posted with the name PLEASE ANSWER because I wanted to know PLEASE why we all could not at least open some discution about a compermize that would be good for the track and the racers.. i don't care, and never will, win a dime racing...It is a hobby to me...i do like competing..NOW....everyone who knows me , knows i am a smart azz..BUT i love everyone at that track, from racers to crew to fans..i enjoy everything about it..I will do anything i can to help anyone out their ( heck I GAVE you a set of slicks that i bought with MY hard earned money because they would not work on my car,, i did not ask you to get my money back out of them,,HELL I drove them to westlake for you.and yes i made a special trip just to get them to you...ask boyd..) and know i am not a NICE GUY because i tried to start a convertation about something i think would be good for the sport, racers, and the track...I did it in a smart azz way because i thought that would get things going..Really does that make me a dick ? are is it i don't agree with you? Heck i am going to race one way are the other..just saying...I am just a test and tune guy and have only been in a few bracket races..but if you think i need to bet money against you because of what i said ( and you know my car want make it down the track 3 times LOL ) heres what i would like to do.. I will agree to race you 3 out of 5 ( sarting 1/8 first, if you don't mind ) then after you win that race we go double are nothing on heads up...my heavy azz car with a small block vs you and your big block MOTOR ON MOTOR... I would like to race you, sure you will give me some leasons lol you are one of the best..I am truely sorry if i miss spoak anything and i promiss it want happen agen...ever..i will mind my own bussness from now own.. chris you have my # call me anytime.. sorry all - By DON MOSS 10/27/2009 at 07:24:49 PM
Chris that isn't cool at all giving up and giving out someones IP address, it will KILL the board! And no I'm not leaving my name either and not because of being scared, its for other reasons. - By TX 10/27/2009 at 10:51:47 AM
I didnt leave it, it is left every time you post something on the lbb board. Go look for yourself! - By Chris Rhodes 10/27/2009 at 12:09:02 PM
1/8 mile aint dragracin!!!this whole thing started 1/4 mile so keep it that way>if you have events just for 1/8 ok but not for everybody.1/8 sucks - By not for me 10/27/2009 at 12:47:01 PM
- hey fred, would like to make a sugestion for the 10.5, index race,etc....can you talk to tracy an see if the races can start at 12.00 noon with gates opening at 10.00am.i think if we started earlyer in the day things would be better.the track should be good, knowing as we do at 9:30-12:00 at night being cold the track is not so great sometimes.does anybody agree to have the 10.5. index races etc.... start earlyer in the day for nov.14?this is just my thinking but anyone can join in with a comment. - By jesse 10/26/2009 at 09:40:22 PM
I AGRRE 100%, but he has to make her arrogant a$$ think that its her idea! maybe Bonnie is the one to talk to, i think all tracy has invested is pissing & moaning. just my thoughts also. - By no name needed 10/26/2009 at 09:47:21 PM
Yall expect the fans to pay extra to bring their families to the track during an event nobody stays to watch because their event doesn't end till 2 am. funny how real drag cars can run (pro stock, funny cars, topfuel) can run during the day .So whats the excuse here? quit cheating the fans and race when they're at the track . see how many more people will come out to watch! The events are disorganized and NEVER start and finish as they are scheduled, not to mention the racers that sit in the pits for 2 & 1/2 hours in between rounds. If there was a little method to the madness maybe just maybe there would be more spectators as well as racers which inturn makes for a better payout and encourages racers to check out EVADALE RACEWAY !!!!!!!!! - By Mike 10/26/2009 at 10:18:30 PM
Hey we are not top dogs of the USA Mike, this is a hobby, not a job! SH!T happens. Most diehard fans will be there til' the end! - By :>) 10/27/2009 at 10:57:12 AM
No complaint here about oil downs and clean up time, it happens at every track at every race there is no avoiding that but if the races started earlier it would allow some extra time for mishaps, clean ups etc w/o having to race til 2am, some of us have long drives, have kids that come with us, not to metion the track changes as dew settles in and temps fall !!!! It is a hobby so why not make it fun for all, racers, spectators etc......... - By Mike 10/28/2009 at 11:33:25 AM
well, well, Mike, everything you just posted makes alot of sense and I agree with you 100%! see, we can agree on things if it is posted right. lol good luck mike on your racing and like you said lets make it FUN! - By :>) 10/28/2009 at 11:05:25 PM
never knew a hobby that just went from 5:00 pm til midnight.hell, lets race all day and have some fun instead of freezin our azz off waitin on an oil cleanup - By just an observer 10/27/2009 at 12:24:45 PM

Jody that will be Junior Wilkerson TPSA from Village Mills. He came over for some TnT before his next race. They had some issues and they said they have them worked out. Yeah it is a clean ride. - By Fred @ the Dale 10/27/2009 at 05:28:31 PM

- If we could get together for a Drivers Meeting at the track and say 5 or 10 dollar entry so we can have some cook us some bar b que or something, would anyone be interested in attending this. First of all we have to get it ok'ed with the track but we could discuss with the track staff stuff that we see as drivers that may make things move faster or easier for the staff. Now this would be for the T n T guys as well as the bracket and index guys. Maybe if we all come together instead of just getting mad and complaining maybe we can come up with a solution and get more racers and bigger purses for all. This is just a idea I had and looking for feedback. - By RFazio 10/26/2009 at 08:25:08 PM
one of the biggest things i saw..after they make the 3 calls to be in the lanes they should start racing no matter who isn't in the lanes..they put out way to many calls..but i do have to give it to fred..he did run tnt cars off when he needed to..and like the above post..start the racing earlier - By no box 10/26/2009 at 10:24:43 PM
sounds good to me.. - By steve 10/26/2009 at 10:21:02 PM
Great idea,RF.A lot of stuff needs addressing and it would be really nice to bring out a good idea without 25 negative reactions to it before the spit dries on your chin.I'm all in with ya,bro!!!!!!! Just name the date!! - By Bill @ Evadale 10/27/2009 at 12:43:23 PM
Like I said on the LBB board first we have to ok this with the track. We will never accomplish anything on these message boards because everyone has differant ideas. However if all the drivers interested were to attend after the season meeting with the track personel then we can maybe work out a solution and get the car counts and purses up. Lets see what else is said on the board in the next day or two then I will contact Fred on his input. - By RFazio 10/27/2009 at 03:35:11 PM

- First I want to apologize to the Texas match race team for loosing last night. Couldn’t help it. All I can say is that the weather and the track was biting. I snapped the wheelie bars in half in the first round. At first I was gonna forfeit, but quitting and giving up is not part of my DNA. I figured if I turn everything down to a minimum including the launch rpm I would only pull the wheels about a foot high, maybe 4-5 feet out. Well everyone present seen that this idea didn’t work. It launched ok but it became a different animal about 8 ft. out when it got into the cam. Ben Bruce Airstrip was back up and running. Smashed the oil pan, cracked the front clip in a few places, broke the fan blades and fan motor off the shroud, road rash on the vertical part of the rear bumper, and tore a hole in the parachute bag. Best of all - I DIDN’T CRAP MY PANTS. I think my rear end was too tight to let anything out. Overall everything is fixable. Be back in a few weeks. Congratulation on the win Jim Truit. - By Scrappy 10/25/2009 at 10:19:16 PM
Forgot to say THANKS to Fred for giving me the opportunity to run in the match race. It didn't go quite how I had visioned it, but it was interesting, and entertaining to the fans. Wasn't too much fun while it was happening though. The track was outstanding. I wasn't expecting that. I even put 50lbs in the nose of the car supposedly to help keep it down. Had to have been the air and the track surface. I don't know, just as I learned not to make a pass in the LUV truck without the wheelie bars, I WON'T TRY THAT AGAIN - By Scrappy 10/25/2009 at 11:50:53 PM
Scrapy, I wasn't there. You shouldn't be apologizing for doing your best. "You Da Man!" - By Whiz 10/26/2009 at 08:36:44 AM
Doh! That should have been,Scrappy. Sorry about that! These laptop keys are pretty close! - By Whiz 10/26/2009 at 08:38:45 AM

- Looks like I owe 10.5 Fanatic an apology. Seems the numbers I posted about the Extreme 10.5 ADRL race were the winning times "AGAINST" those I listed. The way they have it on their board, it looks like that is what they ran during their pass... but in fact, it was the winners times being posted and nothing was posted for the losers times. Sorry about that. - By JODY 10/25/2009 at 10:14:19 PM

- Congrats Richard Cook on the win . Alot of people dont understand what an honor and privlige it is to go run at the Finals. They just dont let anyone show up to race, you have to earn it and you have! You have a car that is very capible of winning! You need to tighten up on the tree and you will be winning many more races!LOL! Seriously good luck and I hope you win at Red Line! - By Chris Rhodes 10/25/2009 at 02:41:24 PM

My new one is a Canon 7D. I'm still working on trying to get my new flashes dailed in. I've been using an off camera flash along with one on the camera to try and light the cars up better. - By Jim 10/26/2009 at 12:04:07 PM
Good luck with those flashes! I've got a couple of setups, but I haven't had time to play with them. I'll get to play with a 7D next Sunday! - By Whiz 10/26/2009 at 11:23:45 PM

Didn't you see me avoiding you in line Chelsea. I didn't want you to beat me. You did a great job last night and yes we can line up together anytime you like. I'm looking foward to it but if you keep going the way you are you will be a force to be reckoned with next season.Once again great job last night alot of cars and trucks went down long before you did. - By RFazio 10/25/2009 at 09:06:19 PM

- Guys, the season is nearing its end and I just have food for thought here till next year.Last night,so I am told, was one of if not the largest car count ever at the Dale. Now,think what the payout would be if all or even most of those cars were entered in the das and bracket races!!!AWSOME!!!! I talked with Mr.Faszio a bit about this and we are both on the same page here. Some of the t&t guys may feel a bit intimidated by some of the bracket cars or you all are afraid you will screw up or something.Yeah, chit happens but what if its your night? You could be a big winner. And still t&t till your foot freezes to the gas pedal.I think you gotta look at the big picture here.Big car count, big payout. It's really all up to you guys as to how much bucks you want to race for and how much prestige goes with a win.Example:Mr. Richard Cook. One of the finest gentlemen you would ever want to know.Richard has been a bracket guy for a long while. Now he sits atop the heap and representative of our group in a national event. My hat is off to you,Mr. Cook.If I can be of any assistance in your quest for national prominence just let me know.Be my pleasure to give ya a swift kick in da butt!!!HA!!! Seriously, tho,do give this a bit of thought and don't hesitate to post your thoughts on how to increase the car count in the brackets. Please do try to stay as positive as possible on this subject as a place to air out negatives will come at a later date. Many thanks, guys and let's get ready for a new season by racing full tilt to the end of this one!!!!!!!!!!!! - By Bill @ Evadale 10/25/2009 at 01:08:47 PM
- We wouls like to Thank Fred and the Evadale Staff for last night. The track was really good even after the cold and dew set in. The cars were all running hard. There was one of the largest turnouts I have seen at the track in a long time and teh Staff did a great job of handling the crowd. So there you go guys keep up the good work. - By RFazio LBB 10/25/2009 at 12:45:38 PM
- Was that Maroon Monza one bad ride or what??? That thing looked light a rocketship last night. Hope you didn't do to much damage on that last pass you are some great competitors and keep up the great work. - By RFazio 10/25/2009 at 12:06:12 PM
When you can see the hood and windshield from the back of the car, you know it was way 12 o'clock. It rubbed the parachute too. Never seen one that high before. - By kawasakijockey 10/25/2009 at 12:31:40 PM
he has done the same thing in the luv. - By phenom 10/25/2009 at 02:37:35 PM

Way to go,Jim! The buggy looks good Ricky! Jim you might want to renegotiate your "Track Photographer" contract since the LA Bad Boys annexed the track! Gotta get your support from the other side of the river! he he he :-) - By Whiz 10/25/2009 at 10:50:01 AM
What contract? I've been working for free...LOL. - By Jm 10/25/2009 at 10:58:00 AM
Don't WORRY Jim/Whiz. They won the BRACKET part of the equation. They gota get 'em a TEAM and come down and win the REAL DEAL to lay claim to that PRIME TEXAS PROPERTY. Till they beat the Texas Match racers in an ALL OUT Head to head Match Up. Team against Team, then that Flag might as well just be flyin' over the RESTROOMS!!!! - By "D-1" and ONLY........TONY 10/25/2009 at 12:48:33 PM
