well same thing now ,there mustang is running faster than the fire bird is with a lot smaller engine an over 300lbs heavier, so get the monza or the firebird and lets rumble,dont forget they ran a 5.36 last night on 8.5s,so with the 10.5s on an the boost cranked up a little ,it will really be ugly. - By amazed 9/27/2009 at 11:00:32 AM

Thanks Jody. It's going to be a little while before I'm back in the groove. If any of you out there reading this post have never had your PSA tested or had a prostate exam I highly recomend it. I had 3 different doctors do a prostate exam on me and they all said it felt normal. The kicker was my PSA (blood test) was high so I went to Houston (doc #3) and had a biopsy. Thats when they found out that I had prostate cancer. They use what they call the Gleason Scale to rate how organized and aggressive a cancer is with a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst. Mine was a 9. The doctor said it was pretty unusual for someone as young as me (47) to have this going on. My doctor recomended surgery because of how aggressive the cancer was and felt like it was still compartmentalized in my prostate, which he said appeared to be the case during the surgery. I know this is all kind of personal but if reading this post makes any of you go get check it was worth it, it just might save your life. Yes on the PSA test. I'll be having that done by my Doc in Houston on a pretty fequent basis for a while. They will be running a super sensitive PSA test, normal dectects down to like 0.01 and the test they will be running on me detects down to like 0.0001 or something like that. Glad you're doing O.K. Jim. And on the PSA test recommendation, that is a very good thing to do. As far as you have mentioned they haven't seen many cases in younger men. Well, not so good of an outting. Rear brakes keep hanging up and now we think the coil went bad. Little help from some friends and we got it back on the trailer. We have only been working on the EFI tuning, but looking forward to getting it to the 'DALE and doing the launch, ignition, tire, and suspension tuning. One of these days, We're gonna get that "BELT" problem fixed and then we can tune on the suspension, tires, ignition, shocks and launch RPM. We haven't touched any of that stuff yet.

- So everyone knows we will be playing host to some of the quickest naturally aspirated cars around this Sat. THE TEXAS PROSTOCK ASSOCIATION. The weather looks as if it will cooperate. So come out and lets have some fun. WE WILL BE RESERVING THE PAVED AREA FOR THESE GUYS AND THEIR TOATERS AGAIN. We are also going to call the Test & Tuners when it is time for them to come up into the lanes. Last week there was some FUBAR. Lets see if this works better and it will give you a designated time to get your runs in. It worked good during the last Tx vs La Shootout. I got a 1988 s10,it has a aluminum dash,gutted doors with aluminum door panels,rebuilt core support from 1/2 x 1/2 tubing,all the bed is cut out with a bed cover over it,has a figerglass cowl hood,it has a roll cage with one racing seat and a aluminum headed sbc with a powerglide and it weighs 2960 with me in it an i weigh 200 poulds.hope this helps - By Jason 9/24/2009 at 06:50:12 PM

I want to congradulate Jimmy my dad for his semi final round finish at the Lucas Oil series National event this past weekend. Great job of driving dad.
