Thanks guys! It has been a long time coming!!! I can't tell you how good it felt on those passes last night. I wish the second pass wouldn't have been aborted. It would have been around a 4.68.. Went almost 2 numbers better to the 330' and coasted throught to a 4.75 @ 147. As always, I gotta thank my parents for giving me and my brothers cool shyt to play with... So I posted them a Challenge on their board. This is what I POSTED
.................................Okay,....Here Goes. Time for some RACING!!!! Looks like we're gonna have to get a Battle of the BOARDS going here before the end of the season so we can get some racing done. Gonna talk to my partner Jody and see if we can get a BIG Ole ShinnDigg going on at the "Dale" before too long. Gonna SEE if I can get The 'Dale's "SUPERMAN", aka .....Mista' FRED and the DALE' staff on board for a little "CANDY" for the winning *TEAM*. Each board(s), from their respective state, gathers a team, and those racers battle each other until there is a winner. Plenty of Time Trials in-between for those not selected to either team and they can grudge race themselves if they wanna. To get this thing started we need a captain(s) for each team. Those captains, INVITE and SELECT the racers and organize their team, but only racers from their own areas/boards. EACH TEAM has to have cars from Fast to Slow, Mild to Wild, Cars and Trucks.
Everyone on the *selected team* AGREES to engage in at least ONE match race. AT LEAST ONE. WINNING TEAM gets the PRIZE *AND* the Trophy. PRIZE to be divided equally between whatever number of cars on that WINNING TEAM. WINNING TEAM TAKES ALL THE CANDY!!!!
EACH Team will PIT TOGETHER in two *designated areas at the 'DALE and WORK and HELP each other with whatever, staging, tune-ups, come to the line with cars for MATCH RACES, etc, etc.
GTR will challenge (lets say) tha' La. Bad Boys and RacePics. Dats Dem LOUISIANA BOYS right???
WINNING TEAM has TITLE of BAD BOYS until NEXT Battle of the Boards!!!

Here is a suggestion there Mr. Jones, the tx/la race is comming up and we all know how mostt feel about bracket racing here. But Fred usually does matchraces with them, Do this in conjunction with the tx la race. This way all the grudge racers and 1/8th mile guys can run for there respective boars and the others can bracket race?? Its a win win for all, The tx la race is brackets which is almost the same thing as battle of the boards, just extend it to more match races. Ok here we go again. As far as a full stock frame rails, SBC, does have ladder bars and comp. shocks but with install of a few light bulb and an Inspection stick you could put on the road. My pod does it runs as fast as we think it needs. This is all motor no nitro or such. Now if you wanna race someone who can put a BIG Texas butt whoopin' on ya' just call out a little black luv truck it the FASTEST TRUCK at the Dale. I had a few saved on hard disc but had a computer crash. Idiot claimed he could fix it but instead - lost everything. It is a maroon chevy luv with a black hood w/ aero scoop. (LIL SCRAPPY) stickers on both sides of scoop. It'll be there Saturday. got the oil leak fixed. Nothing left to do but nik-nacks. Oh yea! -)) used to be - If you tried to look at it from the front, all you would see was the oil pan and drive train. I had to put that in. We have vehicles running from the mid 8's to the high 11's we will take on all challenges. You know who we are but it will be a surprise when we show our numbers at the track.

I don't know who this is, but yea, the little truck should be back out this weekend. My business partner bought a short block from another friend, and I had enough extra parts to put the motor together. Fired it up and there is a leak at the back of the manifold. Gotta get the oil leak fixed and install the shifter. Been a long time since the "lil scrappy" truck has been out to play. Hope it runs as good as it sounds.
