As for "stepping on the toes" of my other readers: Well that is Karen and Fern. Both know and like you, neither is competitive. We believe in Divine order, in my booth, and that querants are sent where they are meant to go. We will even refer them to other readers in other booths if we think someone else would serve their needs better.
As for making your money back:
In addition to the $700 fee to the festival, you must also pay me $50 a day. There are 7 weekend, 2 of which have 3 days in them so we are talking about 16 days worth of $50 fees.
Grand total: $1500.00
Divide that by 16 days and you must make:$93.75 a day to just break even.
(Now you know why we complain about the high fees.)Some days, depending on the weather, the mood of the crowd, the economy or the position of the moon, you will make less than that. Some days you can make up to $700. (on a rare day, but it has happened). Women love Men readers so you will probably get alot of readings, but everyday is different and we go on the law of averages.
Usually we make a profit. Although every year the festival raises it's rates, we make less. We cannot raise our prices more and we can't read faster than we do to satisfy our clients. Last year I barely broke even.
I must be paid because it is my booth and I must do upkeep and maintain it, pay city fees, insurance, etc. If I took the money out of my pocket alone, I would not make any money and there must be some benefit to being the booth owner, don't you think?
Ok, that's as much as I can tell you.
Think about it and let me know.
