HELLO BOARD, MY NAME IS CHIP RAY, THE SON OF BM1 RAY. MY DAD WAS A MASTER AT ARMS ON THE USS IOWA, AND I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE NEAT TO TALK TO SOME OF THE SHIPMATES THAT HE WORKED WITH. MY DAD RETIRED 12-1989. HE IS DOING WELL BUT HE STILL DOES NOT TALK ABOUT THE USS IOWA HARDLY AT ALL. I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR STORIES FROM ANYONE THAT IS WILLING. PREFERABLY FROM PEOPLE THAT KNEW MY DAD.
