Gemstone Ridge

Cliffs these lands are, but not just regular ones. Filled with wildflowers and tender grass, it is a beauty, especially with what seems like gemstones embedded into the rock.

This land is closed. It is no longer habitable.

Gutter Shark was an odd creature. He survived in the shadows, feasting on other's pain and misery. And it never hurt him. Your typical evil had emotion but Gutter Shark seemed to be devoid of anything but his own pleasure or pain. Typically he keeps to himself. He would only talk to the ones that inhabited his land that he recruited. One day he would have many come to try out for his mercenary group - and many would fail under the pressure. And how satisfying it would be to watch them fall. The crunch of bones against ground; the snap of broken jaws; teeth falling from bloodied mouths.

He remembered the first thing he had killed. His mother. Her eyes. Breaking her jaw and the crack. He still savoured the crimson pouring from her mouth, as if every major organ was contained in her mouth. Her pleading screams as she begged him to stop. And he hadn't.

A new smell met his nostrils as he grazed. Male. He walked toward the smell, growing stronger as he got nearer. It was a musky smell, not unpleasent but sent an aire of power along with it. What would a male with his own ambitions be doing here? No matter.

He was a sight to see. He was gangly, a stringy boy in his youth. He limbs left him tall, his spine ridging along his back, giving him a starved look. But this did not make him any less powerful - maybe even more forboding. He remembered how terrified Kopa had been at first sight of him. His scars along most major muscles on his body and the hellish look in his eyes and made her back away. He saw his target.

"Hello. Name's Guttershark. You?"

He did not say this in an unfriendly way, but if this stallion proved to be a threat he was ready to fight. Shark's right-hand man was Druss, an intelligent man with good ideas. The left-hand man had dissapeared, and maybe this stallion would be interested. Time would tell.

i crawled for miles and miles
