Time taken by OCX

Hi,
I have created a VB ActiveX control which will be used in multiple web pages. I have embedded the control in an asp and have in turn embedded the asp inside each htm page using IFRAME.
I want to know if this process will make a difference in terms of time taken to load the OCX on the page as compared to directly loading the OCX in the page (without using asp) ?
