The Valley

Between the Meadow and the Field is the third of Beqanna’s Common Grounds. A rolling valley is bisected by a broad and shallow river. The grass is thick and lush, and this is a good place for a stallion to live with his family if he does not yet have a herd land.

She can see how worried he is. She knows how it must feel to have someone yell about nothing. But all the same the last comment made her sad. She knew she was crazy.She knew it all along. But having someone say it, it was like a slap in her face. A confirmed gesture that indeed she was crazy. "Yea, I know I'm not right."

And for the first time she felt better. She felt like the world was lifted off her shoulds. Like they were.....no...it couldn't...they were..they were gone. They were gone!! She could not belive it. AFter all this time. They had left. They had left she was so happy..

She reared up in happiness and did a little jig. But just to confirm it she said Hello, inside her head. And to her relief she got no response. She was so happy. For the first time. They were gone.

She looked at Bloody. A smile danced upon her lips, her white pearls showing. Making her seem even more silver. She moved over and brushed up against him. and whispered. "Theyre gone".
