Purchased a Humminbird Matrix GPS/Fishfinder Combo. Unit works well enough as a fishfinder but the GPS built-in mapping really sucks. In order to get any detail (and I'm just guessing that you'll actually get it) is to purchase the optional Navionics Software for an extra 150 bucks. I went on Ebay and purchased a handheld Lowrance Globalmap 100 GPS for 70 bucks with the IMS Mapcreate software. I had this unit years ago and the map details are phenominal. Perfect for the lakes we fish plus it has many detailed roads and streets also.
