50 years ago the Master of the City of Shoalhaven, Australia, was killed. The vampires in his Kiss were driven out of Shoalhaven by the lycanthropes. One vampire later found her way to London, where she eventually rose to the position of Master of the City. Under her power, she reformed the lycanthrope groups into ones similar to those found in Shoalhaven. All the cats, birds and canines became one large group and many lycanthropes fled the City due to these changes. Evelyn had been driven out by the lycanthropes, and in London, she ruled them.

Despite her obsession with ruling the lycanthropes, she kept London safe and protected for 40 years. Alliances were formed between the lycanthropes and vampires and 6 months ago, Evelyn allowed a group of Reptiles into the City, as long as they conformed to the same grouping rules as the other lycanthropes.

One week ago everything changed. Evelyn was promoted by the Vampire Council, and she left another of her line as Master of the City in London. Another female, this one was not as strong or as wise as the previous Master.

It did not take long for someone to challenge her and kill her. Brenic, an old Irish Vampire, had a similar obsession to Evelyn. He remembers the days when the British ruled the Irish and has since made a point of placing a Vampire of his line as Master in most English cities. He likes to rule the British as they once ruled his home country. London had escaped his grasp and for 40 years he waited for Evelyn to make a mistake.

Brenic wasted no time in putting together a Kiss of vampires to take London from the new Master. A week after the new Master of the City was appointed, she was killed and replaced by one of Brenic's vampires.

The Kiss of vampires sent by Brenic included a lot of Master Vampires, all of his line, who can control the animals found in each of the lycanthrope groups. The vampires that were not killed by the new Kiss have been kept because they have a use or control an animal that no one else can.

The fight for London and survival is now on. The new vampires will soon be calling the lycanthropes to them and making new alliances.
