Family show that had a jungle in their back yard, the animals were puppets.

This is far off but it was a family show; like ALF, except the family had a jungle in thier backyard. There was an alligator that would come to the window. (of course they were all puppets {the animals}) and it was on saturdays at like 8 am! i dont know what channel or anything but it was fun to watch!
