Name: Solstice

Age: Teen

Gender: Femme

Appearance: Mostly she is a pale sandy color, but the hair of her outer coat is edged in a much darker brown, giving her a two-tone effect. Her ears are also accented with brown at the tips. Her underparts and much of her face are a very light cream color. Her eyes are gold.

Personality: Solstice is very grounded, and for the most part a no-nonsense individual. She lives to serve, but also has a commanding presence and intelligence that make her a good leader. While she certainly takes no pleasure in fighting or killing, she is more inclined to end an argument physically than by talking it out, and is very stubborn in her opinions. All in all, she is abrasive, but loyal to those she deems worthy.

History (optional):Solstice was raised in a remote area of a forest far west, as a member of the Autumn Dreams pack. Her father was beta, and her mother had been his mate before she was caught in a landslide. She was killed only shortly after giving birth to Solstice and her brother Equinox. When the twins grew old enough, they were trained as scouts to serve their pack, the swiftness and agility bred into them making them natural spies.
As they lived in an area only newly inhabited by wolves, packs were constantly getting into skirmishes over territory. Solstice learned early on the ways of a warrior. Never show mercy. Don’t question orders. It’s for the good of the group.
Just before a suspected attack on their territory by a rival pack, Solstice and her brother, along with several other scouts, were sent away to different way points to check on enemy position. On returning to her pack’s territory with her report, Solstice found that the enemy had enacted a sneak attack. Most of her pack members lay dead or dying on the battlefield- among these her father and the alphas. Solstice was told by her dying father that Autumn Dreams was a broken pack, defeated and disbanded. He suspected Equinox killed by attacking forces on his way back, as he had been sent in that direction. He told her she needed to head east, for she was alone in a place that demanded strength in numbers for survival. She needed to live for her own sake, and that of her pack and family.
He then died.
Solstice, unwilling to give up on all she had ever known so easily, did not take his advice right away. She instead opted to search for her brother, and the prisoners. She did find a few- but only their festering corpses, executed days or even weeks before she got there. She was nearly killed serval times by scouts or infractions on unmarked territory. Eventually Solstice came to terms with the fact that there was nothing left for her in the west. Equinox was most likely dead along with the rest of Autumn Dream’s pack members, and so in hopes of finding a new beginning, Solstice made her way east, and unbeknownst to her, to Blossom Forest.
