On the continent of Indra, peace reigns throughout the land. It is the year 849 A.R., and after several tense centuries of enflamed negotiations and conflict between Indra and its twin continent Timberfall, war is banished from the world. Fifty years ago, however, unrest and instability began to grow among Indra’s settlements. Crime, vice, greed, and fear are gaining more influence among the once-peaceful Indrans.
The discovery of Dyne Stones and Ancient artifacts 10 years ago in the Whispering Mountains has triggered a power struggle as well as a flourishing market, both domestically and internationally. No one knows how long it’ll take for a conflict to erupt, though that day seems far off. Recently, the people spend more time worrying about the emergence of Dyne Adepts, people with the ability to channel their energy toward supernatural powers.
The people have set aside their fears for now, as the upcoming Cloud Festival brightens their spirits. But there are dark forces moving with malicious intents, and the future is unknown.
