LilyE giggled softly as Chase tickled her ears, her eyes unslit and now, for the first time since they arrived, were warm and relaxed. She nodded and answered a bit to quickly, stumbling over her own words. "Oh-h, yeah. He's, y-yeah yeah, stiw a foaw-w-w. He wiw be good, I promise. Or I wiw kick him out mysewf." Again she giggled, chasing her butterfly. Ah, Vadim would be so happy. He would finally have a home.
MaT touched Chase's shoulder, lingering there for only a moment before speaking once more. "No, Chase. I will never leave again. I think we both understand why we cannot leave each other, and it's such a simple reason that I was stupid for not beleiving that it was true." Her voice wavered at a whisper now. "And you know what it is? Do you really want to know?" She spoke these last words directly into his ear.
"Because.... I'm so madly in love with you."
