Yet Belial was saddened by the lack of populace on his realms, since he had none because all men not dead and doomed to the tortures of Hell belonged to Adonai. All Belial had for company were his demons, and the few fallen seraph that had come to dwell with him. So it was that when Belial heard of the trouble between Adam and his first wife Lilith, he sent Luzepher, who had revolted against Heaven and Adonai and joined Belial, to visit her, and see if she would be a worthy human companion. Two sons and two daughters Lilith gave to Belial, who in turned gave them dominion over the Isles of Shorelanei, much as Adonai had given dominion over the Earth to Adam. So walked the Demon-blooded on the Isles of Shorelanei.
Years later another man was cast to the Abyss by Adonai, his name was Caine, son of Adam. Another deal was struck, Belial being its instigator, and Caine too created progeny with Lilith. Two sons and two daughters did Lilith give to Caine, who in turned gave them over to Belial, who they all thought of as their ruler. Belial gave the Isles of Shorelanei to Caine's children as he had to his own. These mortal children, these Children of Caine, walked the Isles of Shorelanei with their half brethren, the Demon-blooded.
Gavriel saw from his perch in Heaven all that went on the Belial’s realm. He saw how Caine and Belial planted children in Lilith’s womb and how their progeny walked the islands of Belial’s realm with nothing to remind them of their true creator. Feeling that those of Belial’s realm needed reminding of Adonai and his Seraph, Gavriel took himself to the Belial’s realm and lay with Lilith. He returned many times until he had fathered on Lilith as many progeny as had Belial and Caine. The two sons and two daughters that Lilith bore of Gavriel were given to Belial, their rightful lord, and he in turn gave them the Isles of Shorelanei to walk with their half brethren, the Demon-blood and the Children of Caine.
Yet Belial’s faithful servant Luzepher, who Belial had made his right hand, betrayed him. Belial was forced to flee the Abyss, as Luzepher had turned Belial’s own demons against him. From the Abyss, Belial fled to the Isles of Shorelanei, where there were those loyal enough to hide him, even though they forsook their own lives to do so. So despite Luzepher’s searches and the use of the dreaded Hell Hounds, Belial found a resting place in a hidden underground. Here the true throne holder waits, while Luzepher brings war and strife to the Isles of Shorelanei.
A Rage AgainstGodhood is a role playing game based loosely on old religious facets. This, however, is not a religious rpg. Here you play one of the three races: Demon-blooded, Celestial-blooded and the Children of Caine. Or you can pick up one of the canons and play as full seraph or demon. There is tension spreading across the Isles of Shorelanei, where these races live. It is up to the people has a whole, and not a prophesized hero, to save their world from the evil they perceive. Here, on the Isles of Shorelanei, there are sides to choose, and battles to be fought.
