The Valley
Between the Meadow and the Field is the third of Beqanna’s Common Grounds. A rolling valley is bisected by a broad and shallow river. The grass is thick and lush, and this is a good place for a stallion to live with his family if he does not yet have a herd land.

The beast snorted quietly as he shook his head. Until now; he'd merely been watching them all from close by but suddenly; he was there; beside the mare known as Click. Offering her a respectful bob of his sculpted head; the immortal unipeg snorted and turned his attention on the others. One would have to be a fool to ignore the ideas of a lady. He stated; lyrics strong and clear; bold but true indeed. The stallion of dark bay stain knew the benefits of the kingdom and the herd life; he lived them both on a daily basis. While you give fair descriptions and ideas of herd life and kingdom dwellings, you are wrong on some ideas. The Dew Drop Deserts does not thrive on stealing or fighting for others' mares. No, we in fact, try and prevent such happenings. We do go to the Fields and come here to The Valley in search of willing members to join our ranks but we do not try and out do all others. One can only try right? Falling silent for the time with this inquiry; his dark brown eyes brushed over them all before he continued.
I do not really get such a meeting as this for there will always be steals and challenges. Some of the kingdoms require it of their members, force them to steal and challenge from those of us with herds or face them with demotion or banishment. While I do not agree with this, all of us will never truly get along. I give you credit though, for trying such a thing as this stallion meeting though. However, I feel that excluding the mares of our herds is as bad as saying that they matter not. They do matter and whether you like it or not, without the mares, where would we truly be? If there is to be a meeting at all, do it with the ladies or not at all. Without them, this meeting will fail miserably and if we truly want this to work, we need to include the fairer gender.
The unipeg of dark bay fell quiet then; those chocolate eyes sweeping over the other beasts and then falling on Flick as he offered her a gentle bump of his velvety nose. He understood her need to be a part of this; her want to be included. Oh and for those of you who care, I am Hunter's Chase. A member of the Mythical Light Kingdom and that of my own herd in Orange Country. I too step up to the chance of being leader of the Lights. His lyrics faded off then; radars twitching on his sculpted head and gently flicking forward as he watched and waited. Surely they would see that he was wise enough and intelligent enough to know the happenings of the kingdoms and the herds alike. If it is any help in the matter at all, I've seen many a war and many a change throughout the kingdoms. I'm immortal and have lived in this world we know as Beqanna far longer than many of you care to even think about. So if anyone should be leading the Light members, should it not be someone with the knowledge of life, kingdom and herds alike? He let them think on this now; eyes watching each and every one of them as he finally fell quiet on his part and awaited what was to come now.
