Sedge Wrens - May 17 Posted on May 17, 2007 at 07:40:35 PM by Bob Ross
All the usual suspects on Wylie Road today - Tree Swallows, Barn Swallows, Eastern Bluebirds, Wilson's Snipe, Upland Sandpipers, Baltimore Orioles, Brown Thrashers, Eastern Meadowlarks, Bobolinks, Yellow Warblers, were there in abundance.
In addition, we scoped the Loggerhead Shrike courtesy of Bob Bowles, and heard the Sedge Wrens just north of the bridge. I think they have just arrived.
3 or 4 White-crowned Sparrows were also viewed using the puddles as bird baths. Must have been passing through on their way north. Replies: There have been no replies.
