HIVES/FIRST USE

I tried Body Pure for the first time and four hours into treatment, on my left sole,I was awakened and noticed hives on the back of my knee, neck, back of thigh and a fat lip. Why do you think this happened? I have iced my lip and applied essential oils. The hives seemed to have calmed them down. I left the pad on because I wanted to work through it. What are your thoughts? Has anyone else had this happen?
