Hi Ian - just an update. I went ahead and planted it in my tiny patch of grass. Despite my cat(!) it seems to be doing fine - 8 apples growing well. When I've developed my photos I'll post some so you can have a look. It hasn't grown any taller - which is good - but the branches are blooming. Wonder when they'll be ready??
