Quests
As soon as one does enter, a magical feeling does envelop them. The wind rustles gently, bringing the quiet whicker of a rare unicorn. Would she appear to you, bringing the mighty mythic fairy, or will you be forced to bask in the shadows?
Quests will be announced by a faerie on the board (and sometimes, but not always, on the OOC board). Please do not ask for a quest.
The faerie responsible for your quest will tell you whether or not any traits/defects you earn will be 'genetic' (allowed to be included in breeding posts).

Ivory is related to bone; he sees the paleness of it beckon to the stallion and watches, one-eyed and dispassionate, breathing out clouds of noxious gas.
“Who goes there?” asks the gate in a trembling, willowy voice for the gate has no eyes and no gatekeeper but it feels the strength in the stallion’s step on the path before it and thus, it stirs to the task of questioning. The ivory gate shivers, catching the lightning upon its delicately wrought frame and awaits his answer with little to no patience. “Who is out there?” sounds the trembling question again, and the noise of wailing rides the air in sonorous sweeps of sound that ebb away into mournful sobbing.
The beast’s voice sounds from the gate now, the ivory quaking beneath the booming tone; “Answer me this stallion, and answer this correctly:
A white dove flew down by the castle. Along came a king and picked it up handless, ate it up toothless, and carried it away wingless.”
Silence descends upon both the gate and the stallion for a moment and a moment more before the gate asks him timidly, “What will you give me in order to let you pass should you answer correctly?” as words alone will not see the gate open to him.
