Do you think it’s true? Has the City of Tampa, the Unions and our Pension Board been negotiating with Mr. Sinardi and his crew?
Are the Pension Board members, City of Tampa and Unions acknowledging they are “Negotiating” with Mr. Sinardi? I don’t think so, unless laws and procedures have been changed. Another rumor, "Negotiating".
Mr. Sinardi may have been provided some “early” information on the status of the earnings towards the 13th check for next year. It’s only a guess on my part, always remember that we must wait for the truth and not listen to rumors. I have no inside information, those that do are members of the Pension Board.
Why else would this rumor be put out? “Sam’s Club” has no legal authority to “Negotiate” with the Pension Board. The best they can do is say, “Thank you for letting us know about a future benefit based on excellent investments by our fund, based on a procedure that are already in place."
And to that, I say, “I’ll wait for the official word and then say, Thank-you.”
