there is a venue in Dublin called the Village that is the worst venue I have ever been to. It is long and narrow so that it's hard to get near the stage, the sound is terrible and the toilets are at the front near the stage so there is a stready stream (no pun intended) of people pushing through the crowd all night. The real shame is that there have been some good bands playing there recently like The Wedding Present and New Pornographers so I have to put up with the place. I actually thought the Carling Academy was a pretty decent place to see a band, nice wide high stage and good sound.
