13th check

We visited with another retired fireman today and he said he had heard that we are suppose to be getting a 13th check sometime this month (Parker lawsuit). I know this has been mentioned already on the message board but supposedly he says the lawyers may settle without going to court. Is there any truth to this or is it just more rumors? From what he said there was a meeting about this recently.
