You are referring to a letter from Dennis Ribaya that was posted by LJP. I checked this out and there is no truth to his statements. What was agreed to was that both the Trustees and Parkers' Lawyer will keep talking about the 13th Check and see if there can be an agreement.. I do know that Parker is correct. The fund finished the 2004 year with an investment above 11% and the fund did not end up in a negative loss mode. The Retirees were sent a letter saying that there would be no 13th Check since the fund wass in a negative loss mode for the year. This seems to be untrue since the fund finished the year with a $32 million dollar plus for the year. The actuary apparently said the fund was in a loss mode and the Trustees acted on their notice. We should know something soon, maybe by next Thursday after the meeting. It would be nice to get the check but I wouldn't spend the money just yet..
