That being said, it really sounds like we're caught between a rock and a hard place, maybe as members of this club we should think about how our future is shaping up to be if we dont broaden our hurizons as far as power plants are concerned. The availibility problem of these new generation motors will not get any better as time goes on. In 2003 we(the 82 team) were the first to test the current new gen motor, the test was clearly a success. I personaly think the same initiative should be taken to explore a number of diffrent options for motors that are currently out there right now. Such as Fuel Injected motors, finding a motor that will satisfy all members will be tough but I think its something that we should look into as a club NOW for 2009/2010, and not the winter before an upcoming season. The Can Am club should invest in the're future, a small sacrisfice today could potentially be a move that will allow new teams and drivers to be more competitive right out of the trailer. Of course this is only my opinion, good or bad I would love to hear what everyone thinks about moving to fuel injected motors. I'm just one member taking example from others and thinking about this clubs future.
