A very good and long time friend has passed away. George W. Griffith is gone but will never be forgotten. He and I started on the Department in academy #2 in 1960.We were both assigned to platoon "B" on the midnight shift and were partners for many years in patrol and the detective division. We were neighbors,fishing and hunting buddies For over twenty years. He was a good friend.I felt really bad when Larry asked in an earlier post if anyone knew or had heard from Bill and I was unable to answer. Now we know and may he rest in peace.
