I like some of his songs but man.... is this guy and his band really The Grateful Dead? At least with the Dead it was more of a free love/camaraderie kind of thing. A unique club of traders one upping each other with BASF making the things they recorded on better. Has Matthews has recaptured the upper middle class kids with disposable income market from Gangsta Rap? I guess that must be comforting to those types of parents who once felt safe knowing Tipper Gore was going to deliver their children from evil. I just wonder if they are just in denial that their kids are taking the road trip in the 99' Volvo or Subaru but have traded in the hemp for Meth, Oxy's and Ecstasy.... That Dave sure is smart to put landscape photos on his album covers instead of Meth Labs and singing about Lebanese smuggling etabs through Canada. Replies: There have been no replies.
