During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The wolf let a small smile slip onto his features as Silence approached in his dominant attitude. Silence took it as a smirk at a high ranked wolf, and immediate dislike flowed through him. It wasn’t personal, Silence found himself disliking a lot of wolves. Lamonderay for one, and that male had been Alpha for a while. Whether he liked a wolf or not meant nothing in how he acted towards them anyway. Those that deserved respect got respect, those that didn’t, got none.

This lone wolf at the border did not deserve any. That he at least showed some respect to Silence in a more submissive type of body language was what Silence would’ve expected from any wolf along the borderline who did not belong to the pack.

The ess of the land? Well, wasn’t that something. It seemed all wolves these days just wanted to meet the Alpha as if they were the only ones who had the power to deem whether a wolf was fit to join or not. Should Takara suddenly appear and tell Silence to back down, he would. But he had not earned this position just because he had joined the pack. Silence earned his position protecting the pack, and at the moment it didn’t need a stray wolf thinking he was all that.

“The ess of the land is not available at the moment.”

He spoke shortly in a low and gruff growl. It was apparent he was not impressed by this male, and it probably had to do with the idea that he wasn’t here to accept the wolf in the first place. That he had temporary acceptance while Takara was out was not the problem, it was the fact that the pack was highly glad to keep to itself for the moment. Besides, the wolf would probably rather stick with a place where the Alpha was present for longer than a short period of time. No, Munashii Gekko was quite happy being left alone. And that was what Silence was here to communicate.

He did not drop his dominant position, and kept it just on the hint of being deadly as well. If this wolf thought it was amusing, he was probably a jerk anyway. Silence was not one to fool around, and should he find the wolf an acting snob, he would not hesitate to put him in his place. While other Alphas and Betas could accept the haughty attitudes and be happy just because a wolf showed some sign of respect while completely acting opposite, Silence was not one for it. He never had been one for jokers or fools.

Now he merely waited for the wolf to leave.
