During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Atra had followed Waptumewi out of the pack, keeping low to the ground as she did so. She was nervous, being out of the territory on her own. But she wasn't alone, Waptumewi was with her. Okay, he was with her reluctantly. And as they approached what seemed to be their destination, his attitude changed to one of fear. Which spread to her; herself already frightened of being out of her home.

He told her to look for Hope, to explain to her what had happened, and to not mention his name. And then he turned and fled. The later did not surprise her, and she let him go without protest, although being alone now really was not what she wanted... But she did not want him to be in such blatant discomfort. "Thank you." She whispered to his fleeing back, knowing that he probably couldn't hear her but she didn't care at the moment.

Her soft golden eyes turned to the trees that were on the other side of the scent barrier. The scents of wolves were faint, but her sensitive nose was able to easily pick them up. She slowly laid down, not wanting to cross into the pack without being invited, that would be rather rude. She would wait here for someone to show up, so that she could tell them of her need for their assistance... Whatever it was that they could lend to her, she would gladly take it.

Now if only she could quiet her pounding heart, she'd be good to go.
