2004 13th. Check-Court Hearing
IP: 205.188.117.196

To All RETIREES,
At approx. 3:20 pm today, I received word from the courthouse regarding the hearing on the John Parker Lawsuit. At the hearing, the Judge and Parkers' lawyer, Wayne Thomas, had no objection to paying the base benefit amounts of $5,700.00 and $2,850.00 to those retirees who were elibible. Since there were no objections, Jennifer Campbell will now proceed to get our checks cut and in the mail. We expect the checks to be paid on or before February 15th.. Later today, the Judge is to rule on the Motion To Dismiss. Regardless, our checks will be paid. If necessary, the Judge will have a hearing on the "CLASS" question, probably sometime in March.

The second hurdle has now been crossed, clearing the way for our checks to be paid.

More to follow as information is received.
