During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

A starting point. That made sense at least, and Hope fell into a quiet pondering moment. Another pack member of Cold Summers then. So he was close by at least, and yet so hesitant to let Hope know. It was Silence who picked up on the chance to speak then, understanding the thoughtful look that meant Hope was mulling something over.

“You do well to care so much for a fellow pack member.”

All he had caught was the idea that Hope was needed, and knew full well his sister was going to agree to go. Which made him feel slightly uncomfortable with knowing this. She would be entering a strange pack, and would show the wolves that there was something still left of the old Blossom Forest. It was a secret they had been keeping for a long time, and yet to keep it still a secret meant a wolf would be without a leg. While that was life, it was also something that could be prevented.

His gaze turned back to Hope, catching her eye and his body stiffened slightly, a small indication of a dominant act. “You’ll be careful sister.” It wasn’t quite a question, but it wasn’t a demand. More of a need of reassurance. Her nod made him relax once more, and he turned to leave, heading once more into the pack territory.

Hope now stepped forward, leaving the comfort of her home alone for the first time in a while. She had regained the silent composure she had dropped, pausing a moment to look to the black female for the company. She was softer now, feeling a bit ashamed for the cold first words dealt out. “I didn’t catch your name.”

The female hadn’t mentioned it, but then again it her own had only been revealed in the subtle manner of finally agreeing that she was the one that may be able to help. Still, she felt it was at least good manners to know the name of the one who struggled through a cold meeting for the hope of finding help for a fellow pack member.
