As of last month, the fund was down 8.1%. If we get a 13th. Check next year, the fund will have to really rally. Our investment manager, Jay Bowen, is a miracle man and has made our fund millions. I hope he is able to make us enough money this year to get another 13th. Check. Remember, the fund will have to makek 11% for Retirees to get a check next year. I think you will see a move to change the payout on the 13th. Check. The 13th. Check should be based on the 6th % of investment returns. This would insure that Retirees have a continual yearly benefit, most years. There will be opposition to changing to the 6th % but it can and should be done.
