To all RETIREES,
As all can see, the 13th. Check is about to be paid. I am sure we all have a need that this check will take care of. When I read the letter, I could see that some will have a question that needs to be answered. The question??? When will we get our checks????
I spoke with the Pension Office and learned that the checks will be dated February 15th.. Those who get their checks by direct deposit should see the deposit on February 15th.. For those who get a check through snail mail (US Postal Service), you can expect your checks on or about the 15th.. The checks will be put in the mail on February 14th., and will arrive when the postman gets them to your mailbox. If you don't get your check on Feb. 16th. there is no need to call the Pension Office. You will only be told that "The check is in the mail." And it really is. At a later time, we can all expect another check, which will be the interest earned/owed on the 13th. Check money. Negotiations are underway about the amount of interest. I will be able to post the results of the negotiations as soon as an agreement is reached. We will also be able to project a payment amount and date at that time as well. WE WILL KEEP EVERYONE POSTSED AS THE INFO COMES AVAILABLE. Until then,,,
