That is correct; however the reality of our donation intake is, a great deal paid by a few and nothing paid by many. It would be an ideal world if we recalculate and everyone paid their fare share. The fact is our debt has not been paid and I’m confident there are many retirees that will not pay their fair share. $300 wasn’t a lot before and still isn’t.
There those on the fence and those on the other side of the fence and no one can make anyone contribute anything, only their conscious guides them. My conscious had lead me to pay more than my fair share and I’m not complaining, I believe in this Association and everything they do for us. I also, appreciate all the help and contributions our loyal members have provided.
I would also like to remind everyone that the Associations coffers have been drained supporting the Declarative Action over the last few years, the in take from dues never covered that expenses. A large amount came out of a few pockets and those generous donors have not asked for their money back, because they donated it.
Personally, I would like to see our treasury account healthy again and with a little help from everyone, that will happen.
