Hey Guys,It saddens me a little to see this exchange about voting. I served on the board for a short time and resigned for reasons that don't matter for this discussion. I attended a lot of meetings as well. First, I don't see how anyone from out of town could serve the association to any useful degree as a board member. Second, I know that there have not been many willing to accept a nomination to the board. And third, most if not all of the present board members have expressed a desire to turn thier position over to some new blood but have found few if any takers. In light of these facts I do not see the significance of this argument. I know that the board has attempted to resolve all issues regarding input from all members and there were and still are problems to accomplishing that. For example, it is expensive to do the limited mailings when our dues remain so low as to barely cover meeting costs. I'm just thankful that the current board is willing to contribute as they have.
