To all Retirees,
Health Insurance hits us all really hard. Our checks take a monthly pounding with only one thing for sure. Your rates are going to keep on going up. Since 2001, health insurance rates have risen 5.8% each year. Our checks haven't and we lose purchasing power because the insurance eats up more than our cost of living puts in. The good news is that this problem is being worked on by a certain group that is serious about getting Retirees some relief. Your association is involved in the planning as well and things are going well. There needs to be some fine tuning and that is in the process. Once the kinks are ironed out, I will post the basic idea for all to review. I can assure each Retiree that it will work out to your benefit. More at a later time.
