For anyone who's never been to the Iron Horse, it is a tables-and-chairs setting, and caters mostly to singer/singwriters. They don't typically have a lot of rock acts. I've performed at the Iron Horse a few times, but this is the first time I've been there to see another band.

I understand why Rich said the crowd was "lame", but like Dan said, it is more the venue's fault than the crowd. As far as the performance, this band is incapable of putting on a show that is not fun to see. Despite the setting they were high energy, and the set list was great. A few interesting things: during "Larry", Bill sang a few lines from "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison. After "I'm Allowed" Bill talked about how good the opening band was, and said "I have a piece of advice for you guys...get out of the music business as soon as possible". The show was short, but again that is the venue's fault, not the band's. They also had two different T-shirts for sale that I've never seen before, but they only had size medium in one, and large in the other. I hope they have a better selection at the Paradise. Both shirts were cool (and reasonably priced at $15) and I would have bought both if they had XL available.

I guess I'm getting old, because I actually liked sitting at a table, having a decent meal and a few good beers, and having the show end at 9:00.
