As far as I am concerned capitol punishment is the same as abortion or aggressive, illegal and unnecessary wars.

However the State has the right to enact and enforce laws. A fact that Freemasonry has never accepted. Obviously the Church felt that having groups of people practicing witchcraft was not in the best interests of society.

The 'witches' should have moved to a country where such activity was legal, instead of breaking the law.
