A lengthy obit appeared in the Henry County (Georgia) Times, as well as a brief obit in the Atlanta Journal Constitution. He died July 19, 2008 at age 56. He was a resident of Conyers GA and had worked as a technician for IBM. He is buried at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton GA. The obit gave no details of his naval service, except that he had served in the US Navy.
