This is an area with many large eskers, few trees, and many streams and rivers. This is a great place for pups to play! There are many types of birds, mice, and rabbits to hunt, as well as larger game.
The Eskers are bordered on the north and west by the Ochotona Mountains. To the northeast lay the Ashen Domes. The rest of the surrounding land is mainly tundra and short prairie grasses, and dwarf forests.

Zeek snarled again at her and slid down the top of the esker, however dug his paws into the soot to stop himself from going any further. She was tempting him to though, just so he could see those pups. If she knew what was good for her, she'de shush with the growling. He had no problem with snapping at her yet again, pups or no pups.
While Dev had found another spot to nurse, Zev was still absentmindedly fighting his sister to move back over. Now he was blindly climbing over her to find a new spot.
