The Valley
Between the Meadow and the Field is the third of Beqanna’s Common Grounds. A rolling valley is bisected by a broad and shallow river. The grass is thick and lush, and this is a good place for a stallion to live with his family if he does not yet have a herd land.

 Cyle stood before the mare in silence. He watched her chest for a moment and knew without a doubt she was scared of him. No, scared isn't even a suitable adjective for what Cyle perceived in the mare. She was petrified, totally petrified. Her rapidly beating heart of course led to a increased breathing rate. He notes the smirk on her face and he laughs silently to himself. keep trying to cover it up, babe he thinks to himself as he watches her laughable attempts at trying to "hide" her emotions.
He hears her words as they come forward from her mouth and he gives his head a small nod as she speaks.
"Well, Rain," he says to her as he takes a step closer. "As I'm sure you don't want to always think of your home as the "Temp. home" where is it that you would like to stay?" he asks as he takes another step forward. He question, while the tones were a little harsh, was sincere. And while, the mares he had probably hated him, he was going to keep moving forward with what he could get. He of course, knew that her first thought would probably be the volcanic land she had come from, but he would never bring his herd there, partially because that's where they had come from and partially because he wasn't looking to have some volcanoe blow up and fill his entire land with ash and lava.
He has ceased to move forward and he stands quietly before her as he waits to see what kind of answer she will give him, if any at all.
