Greetings all. There will be a dispatching job listed shortly for the USF Police Dept at the St Petersburg Campus. This is a very laid back department and position. How laid back you might ask? I've been there since March 1st. I've made one arrest and have written 3 reports. The shifts are 12 hours long. So you only work a 3 and a 1/3 day week. The only drawback is that this position is pretty much permanent weekends and I forget what the other 2 days are. But I think they're four in a row. There's full benefits with healthcare(fantastic healthcare at $180/month for the family plan) and you're in the Florida Retirement System. Pay is somewhere around $23K.
