Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Akemi turned to Kiyoko, knowing if she tried to help Kuroha she'd just be in the way. "He's our father, Ki," she spoke, lipes clearly forming the words. About the egg...

"Bring the egg inside with you." It was Polera that spoke, youthful voice cutting through the crowd. "It's not fair for the young to be treated as items." His golden eyes were fixed on Akemi who turned her head when he spoke. She nodded and repeated his words to Kiyoko.

Freedom moved closer to Polera in attempt to help him walk or stand... or something. But the black and white hybrid brute shied away, closing his wings tightly along his back. "I'm fine," he said, though it was drastically over-stating his condition. He glanced at the water then away from the group. "I play with magic all the time." Walking a little farther away from the group, he could feel his body sag under the slight strain.

The young brute's gaze met the form of Kuroha, watching him lift the former white wolf off the ground carefully. "My name is Polera," he stated simply, looking away. "Don't thank me, there's no need." He turned away and walked a few steps, feeling his muscles' protest. Polera's teeth gritted until they squeaked. "I'll linger out here a while longer, until I regain the rest of my strength. It's not right for me to stay..." He lay down with his back to the group, setting his chin on his paws. His golden eyes remained open, ears flicking about at noises.

Freedom began to walk to the den with her adopted siblings, but stopped at the entrance and looked to Polera. Her deep blue eyes showed concern and sadness at the way he acted. She couldn't leave him out here.. Not all alone. Her black paws made their way toward the young brute, stopping only inches away. Actions speak a thousand words... She lay down beside him quietly, laying her hed on her paws and closing her black lined eyes.

Polera lifted his head and glanced at her, feeling he should tell her to go. But something about the deliberacy of her actions told him that she would not even if he demanded it. Giving a soft sigh, he layed his head on his white paws once more, eyes still wide open.
