The moon reflects softly on the water's surface and the ripples that flow show the presence of life. Tall reeds bend majestically, making the picture seem good and serene. Don't let it fool you.

Dial raised, nares inhaling sharply. The scent was unmistakable. Having picked out the direction she relaxed. She stood, enamles working at the reamining blades of grass. Orbs pinpointed his approaching shape. She waited calmly. Banner flicked at her side, removing the young bloodsuckers which awoke with the warming air. She only flinched as she stopped herself spooking as her own ivory whipcords licked her flank.

She looked up with a smile, faint but present. As his muzzle touched her nape she reached up and gently brushed her own velveteen down the u nderside of his boa. He was much more gentle than any other brute she had come across. She trusted him as much as she could. She pulled back to fix her aze on him. His whispered tones entered her audits. She concidred them, and wondered how best to portray her answer. She settled on a smile, sweet and innocent. Her dial nodded once, orbs never leaving him, not wanting to start at anything he did. She was trying, but it was hard.

A claw struck the inside of her ribcage and she jumped, turning a circle on her haunches, orbs rolling once in their sockets and harks flattening to her skull in surprise and pain. The babe did not kick often, and it surprised her when it did. Settling her self, breathing herd she turned her muzzle, nape arching and muscles flexing, until her kissers stroked her golden side. Her barrel swelled every day as the flicka grew. She had never trusted anyone enough to let them get close enough to touch her, let alone bear a foal. The experience was all new and unusual.

Mostly she kept herself to herself, and knew little of the goings on between the other vixens who resided in the lagoon. Most of them scared her, except Avatrix. She steered clear of large gatherings. A one on one half conversation was about her limit. Her dial tilted sideways, her orbs questioning, trying her best to return his question. She had no idea if it would convey correctly, only his response would tell. She tried to block out her surroundings, focusing on the tall brute before her, determined she would not be spooked by anything.
