From their lofty position, the residents of the Distant Peaks are the first to know of Southern spies and have the pleasure of seeing the Silver Lakes below. The temperature is cool year-round here with terrible snowstorms during the winters. Residents often retreat to the kingdom when the weather becomes too intolerable.

She smile was captured and photographed in his memory. This one was not like the tittle smirks that usually played on her facade, but a real smile, full of truth. So perhaps he was winning her over already. His mug ran down his forearm to his nee as an itch plagued his piston. It bent and arcked, hanging in the air for a second before falling to earth, digging at the snow until it found grass. The snow clouded around his forelimbs like fog before settling.
She approached and he straightened up, flexing his nape upwards and inwards to stretch his muscles in the cold. HIs banner lifted and flicked at his side, bringing with it a shower of snowflakes, some of which clung to his pelt while others returned to join their brothers and sisters on the floor. He noted how elegantly she moved, her toes pointed as she floated towards him ove the snow. As she halted the wave cascaded over his features. Icy droplets collected in his tendrils and on his whiskers. A few even caught in his eyelashes. He could see them every time he blinked. And then she was off again. He laughed and shook his dial, removing some of the looser burdens she had given him. He let her get a little way before giving chase.
Hen set off at a rhythmical 3 beat metronome, in no rush but closing the distance between them until he was at her side. Boa snaked and muzzle extended. He gently touched her whithers before turning back to loom where he was going.
Tag.
With that the stored up energy in his muscles was released, his daggers kicking forwards into a lope, hooves bounding and sinews flexing to pull him forwards and away from her. her curved to the right and sped across the plateau with a buck, hind limbs thrown high. He would not stop now til she came to catch him.
