Kennedy had asked to be taught how to battle – it was important to her to learn how to defend herself properly; and she knew that Cross himself would never agree to teach her. To him she was far to fragile, and he would die of a heart attack if he thought she had been hurt – and so Kennedy had sought the help from a few of the soldiers in the Chamber army until finally someone agreed. The large male seemed all to eager to pummel my small dove – but she stood as ready as she could be.
She was to answer a question, one her mind replayed over and over gain in her head – but she could find no suitable answer. She smiled sweetly and cocked her head to the side before allowing the silence to be broken by her sickly sweet voice, “My advantages are few but I suppose they’re advantages all the same. I am smaller, which means I’m closer to the ground, that could be beneficial.” She grins slightly before continuing on, “I also happen to have the power of mind control – though I don’t assume you’ll let me use it in this mock – it really would put you at a great disadvantage and I doubt I’d learn much.”
“Disadvantages are more plenty – I am inexperienced, you have your size and strength on your side as well. Not to mention you are experienced; and could easily destroy me.” She sighs and shakes her head, but that small smile twitches upon her face as she studies his movements. Her brow creases as she imitates his movements, and even though she was trying to be careful she still managed to stumble once or twice.
She nodded in agreement to the terms of the mock, her eyes narrowing slightly, her muscles tightening and coiling – like spring they pulled back, adrenaline pumping hard and fast through her veins. She was quick, but not hasty upon her feet, and her circles that were at one point very large were now becoming smaller bringing her steadily closer to her target. “Let me know when.” She said, keeping a rhythmic beat as she circled, like a dog ready to go in for the kill.
