Rot when I did the math I came up with 4.94% increase. That being said I do not understand how the pension board calculates and distributes the cola. If you compare exibit I from 2008 to exibit I for 2009, the cola is not distributed equaly. The cola increase for 2009 is any where from 3% to 11% depending on what class your in. I always thought the cola was supposed to be distributed equally to everyone.
