No sooner had his mother’s call been released into the forest air than e.ros’ tiny ears caught the sound of an answering bellow, masculine, his father’s voice. A small smile appeared on his usually solemn expression as he anticipated the appearance of his sire. Finally, sharply tuned onyx optics caught sight of the large misty hued figure as it moved through the trees, alongside him, a small grulla colt. e.ros felt a small pang of jealously, knowing that his brother would probably be the favored child, and because he lived in the forest would also know his father better. However, the colt brushed these feelings aside when he reminded himself that he was the one who had a mother that was royalty.

The father son duo emerged from the dense foliage into the small clearing in which e.ros and his lovely silver mother were standing. Immediately e.ros realized that he greatly resembled his father. In fact, when he reached maturity it would be difficult to tell them apart. e.ros himself had more refined features, given to him by his Arabian mother’s ancestors. He also would not be as tall as his large father. Other than that and a slight variation in coat pattern, he was g.uerilla’s spitting image. A surge of pride flowed through him at this realization and his smile widened and brightened.

g.uerilla spoke first to Seduction, and e.ros watched his mothers reaction closely. The Valkyrie Queen had not spoken much to her son about his father, but he was not sure why. However, when a sly smirk spread across the female’s angelic features e.ros relaxed a bit. At least they did not hate each other.

Nice to see you again, as well g.uerilla. And yes, the Valkyrie Kingdom is the best place for me. I am sure you have heard of Sirenne’s departure and my new place as the Valkyrie leader.

At these words the dainty alabaster temptress stood to her full height, anyone could tell she was proud of her accomplishment. She had come to the lands of Hoof Prince to prove herself and so far she was definitely making her mark. e.ros was also proud of his lovely mother. Though he still watched over her closely, making sure she did not get hurt, he was beginning to realize that Seduction probably would did not need his protection as much as he once imagined. However, his thoughts were cut short when his father turned and spoke to him for the first time. Respectfully, the little pallid colt dipped his miniature head in greetings to his sire, then in turn to his brother, m.aelstrom before speaking.

Yes, sir. It is good to finally meet my father. And my younger brother as well.

Even though e.ros physically resembled his father more than the younger colt, it was already obvious that m.aelstrom was more like his father personality wise. This was quite interesting to e.ros but he did not ponder on this fact very long, he was just happy that he had finally met his father and his brother.

e.ros has been very excited to come and meet you finally.

e.ros grimaces as his mother’s honeyed lyrics entered his ears.

He did not want to lose face in front of his father and brother, but his mother obviously did not know of masculine pride. Deciding to just let Seduction’s comment go e.ros stepped forward closer to m.aelstrom.

You know, you should come to the Vistas with me sometime. There are lots of other foals our age that hang out there.

e.ros was excited that he had a sibling he could introduce to his other friends, Dimitri and Alcatraz. Actually he was just excited in general today, which was quite out of character for him, but he is only a foal after all.
