The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

[OOC: Your post clearly states that you crossed the border, this means Plague has a right to kill you, but I’m not that mean. But keep that in mind if you indeed feel like complaining about my wolf’s actions Also, your wolf should respect wolves in the pack, for they determine its ability to work with others in alpha’s eyes, respect is the biggest thing that keeps a wolf alive, so your wolf is about to learn why. Sorry for any power play.]

His ebon tassel had been still for quite a while now, because he was even bored, simply a little distracted, while he didn’t need a rest, there was no great large number of wolves to go to, so he relaxed on the thought that he could take his time. Already the packs ranks had changed, the last fae he had met, Firestorm, he quite liked her and raised her to Delta, along with her mate. A few more ranks and wolves got shifted upwards and it pleased him, everyone was doing their job properly and this is what made Andere a very strong pack. He smiled at the thought and scented the air for
Kimani, but no trace of her washed to him in the air, he shrugged it off mentally, that fae would take her own sweet time or perhaps she had gone hunting. He turned and trotted towards the border and began to mark it. Violently clawing the bark off trees and snapping lower branches showed a clear barrier between no wolf’s land and his pack. He sidled up to a tree and on three legs left a very clear message.

MINE.

He continued on, working quickly, moving up the border, towards the clearing where he was sure to meet Kimani sooner or later. Though as he marked, he also scented the wind and it seemed someone was stupid enough to just run into his pack lands, honestly, a few corpses at the borders did the trick and he almost had every intention of killing this next intruder. He pondered slightly and he burst into a gallop, carrying him along the border and then suddenly into a hunter’s stalking crouch, cut a wide berth out of his pack lands and past the border. A wolf didn’t expect an alpha to run on it from out of the pack, honestly, the element of surprise was a crucial tool in fights and Plague used it to his full ability. He waited, undetectable to every sense, then burst from his cover. His pace eating up the ground, his ebon silks and large, well-muscled frame clearly being used, though not to the extreme. He lunged and leapt up and sharply down latching his large jaws on the intruder’s scruff before they could even turn. He collided with the intruder and practically landed side on to him/her. From this position, he used his pure strength to flip the wolf, which was smaller than he, letting go at the perfect moment for it to crash dazed onto its back. Now he launched over her, to high to be hit by her and sharply turned bringing her upturned lower hind leg between his tools and clamping them together with a metallic ‘clip’. He then tugged her over the border whether she fought back or not, twisting her leg painfully if she tried anything fancy. He spat out her bloodied limb and cut a wide circle around her, snapping and his hackles raised. While all of this happened, his banner waved comfortably at Alpha height, curled defiantly over his spine as if ready whip out and slash. He walked behind his border and turned; spitting out some advice the wolf should listen to and listen well.

Next time I’ll drag your lifeless body out by its throat, so leave and never return.

He watched the fearful fool flee before turning to the young fae and, surprisingly, smiling. He snorted in laughed and stretched his back, hearing a few good clicks that brought relief. He studied the teen fem and then spoke up, bowing slightly as he always did to the ladies.

We wont see such things done from now….But where are my manners, I am Plague, your new alpha. It’s Jena, right? I believe I met your father, Baroq, clearing the borders not far back.

He waited from some conversation from the teen, as she did seem quite ready to defend her pack, albeit having the handicap of being much smaller, still, she was loyal and that never went amiss in Plague’s head.
